We use Wessington Springs, SD - Mettler’s Locker for processing (cash/check only). THIS PRICE IS FOR THE BEEF ONLY. ADDITIONAL PROCESSING FEES WILL NEED TO BE PAID TO THE LOCKER (cash or check only). Estimated processing is $230 per quarter with quarters hanging between 200-240 lbs.

Example of 1/4 beef cost: Hanging weight of 850lbs total of animal. Divided by 4 is 212.5lb per quarter. Take 212.5lb x $3.50/lb = $743.75 total cost of 1/4 beef to producer, PLUS PROCESSING PAID TO THE LOCKER (~ additional $1.20/lb) upon pickup (cash/check only). Overall total cost is around $1,000 per quarter. Hanging weights will vary based on animal and we will contact you with final weight. Customer will call in desired cuts of meats to the processor. Subject to use multiple processors. Beef is mainly grass fed and grain finished for the last 90-120 days.
